  1. I am an old man with five children that have produced 19 grandchildren. Sold my surfboard in 1975 and moved to Utah to complete my degrees in Forestry and Education. Decided teaching grades three through college would leave a bigger footprint in society than forestry and retired two years ago after 40 years in the classroom. Still a jock and trying to complete the “bucket list of life.”

  2. For those of you that remember me:
I am Sandy Brown also known as Sandra Monroe. I have been married to Kevin for 47 years. We have two children, Amie and Jeff who turned out very successful. We also have four grandchildren. I recently retired from Mclane high and Kevin from 45 years managing grocery stores. We have lived in Sacramento and currently in a beautiful home in Fresno. We travel to HB once a month to see mom in the same house. We have also traveled to many far away places 🙂

    1. Sandy, Good to hear about what is going on! We have been in Stockton since 1976 so not far from you. We can figure out how to connect for coffee the next time you drive thru Stockton and catch up. Hope you are able to make the reunion.
      Greg

  3. I am Paula (Frates) McDonald….did 50 years really go by????
My husband Dave, served 4 years in the Marine Corp with 1 tour in VietNam, discharged in January 1969..all before I met him in August; married in May 1970. Instead of going into teaching after college, Dave became a landscape business owner/contractor in Lake Forest while I worked in the Pacific Telephone business office. In 1977, we relocated to Sonoma County in Northern California where we began and worked together as owners of The Couch Shop Furniture Warehouse for almost 42 years. We have been blessed with 5 great
children; 2 sons and 3 daughters and now have 10 grandchildren.
Dave retired a few years back, while I am still in the process of doing so. I still work on Saturdays with my brother who runs his own mattress shop at our former store location. LIFE is GOOD!! We’ve been able to do “alone time”vacationing in Maui or Kaui, Hawaii at least once a year for the last 20 + years.
We manage the food pantry at our church, and with more time now, able to be more involved with our church community. There is always something going on with our family, so we still busy, busy…but loving it. Not sure if we will make the reunion…one of our daughters is getting married in December.

  4. I’ve been happily living with my wife, Kathy, in the Hancock Park neighborhood of LA for the past 33 years. After graduating from Cornell and law school at University of California, I’ve practiced law for clients in the real estate, travel and hospitality industries for 42 years. I retired from my downtown law firm about 2 years ago, but still practice law from home 2-3 days a week, which leaves plenty of time for tennis (Los Angeles Tennis Club); golf (Wilshire Country Club) and travel. Looking forward to our 50th reunion.

  5. It’s hard to believe it’s been 50 years since I graduated from Marina high school! Right out of high school I did go to Orange Coast College and was a Certified dental assistant, and later when my youngest son was in High School, I went to nursing school at Antelope Valley College in the high desert in California. I am now a retired nurse of 20 years and enjoying my retirement in the beautiful community of Bear Valley Springs in Tehachapi California with my husband of 15 years. I have two sons and 5 grandchildren. I am really looking forward to the reunion, and the cruise! I look forward to seeing everyone!
